For developers who run Claude Code

Your Claude Code cockpit.
Every flight recorded.

CC Blackbox is a personal IDE for the Mac, built around Claude Code. Every session is recorded, visualized live while it runs, and replayable afterwards. An iPhone companion lets you watch and steer from wherever you are.

Free. Apple silicon Macs. Works with your existing Claude Code install and plan. The iPhone companion is on the App Store.

See it work

Seventy seven seconds: the cockpit, three agents working in parallel, flight playback, a scheduled crew, the cost report, and the phone picking up a session mid flight.

What it does

One window: your files, an editor, terminals, and a live picture of what Claude is doing. Everything below happens without changing how Claude Code itself behaves.

Watch the work unfold

The Ops Board draws every read, edit, and handoff as it happens. When Claude delegates to specialists, you see each one branch off, which files it touches, and when it reports back. Nothing to configure: sessions started in CC Blackbox record themselves.

Replay any session

Every session is stored on your Mac, in your own database. Scrub back through the conversation and the tools together, at any speed, and land on the exact moment something went sideways. Search across all of it.

Build crews. Schedule them. Learn from them.

The Agent Harness runs headless Claude Code agents you define: a prompt, permissions, an optional crew of specialists, a schedule. Each run lands as a full recording with a report. Turn on decision logging and every agent records its significant choices and why; Patterns then shows what an agent keeps choosing across runs, where it wavers, and which prompt lines would fix it.

Let Claude check the app itself

An embedded browser and an iOS Simulator pane, both driveable by Claude through tools the app provides. Claude can open your page, click through it, read the console, or tap through the phone build, and you watch it happen in the same window. Every action asks you first.

Know what it costs and how the work went

Usage and estimated cost by client, project, and model, computed from your own recorded token counts. An Operations view shows active time, friction such as permission denials and context compactions, and the economics of your agents.

Step away. Stay in the conversation.

Pair your iPhone with a scan. Sessions running on your Mac show up on the phone: see what needs you, approve a request, send the next instruction, or stop a session. Traffic is end to end encrypted; the relay never sees plaintext.
